2022–2023 Board of Directors

An excellent working relationship exists between the Board of Directors and Alouette Staff as together, we respond to emerging issues relating to addictions and homelessness in our community.

Like our members, Alouette has laboured under a lot of uncertainty; the COVID-19 pandemic has challenged us to respond to client and community needs in new and innovative ways.

We work hard every day to preserve the safety of Maple Ridge and Pitt Meadows’ residents.

The ongoing opioid overdose tragedy, coupled with the COVID-19 pandemic has made it more difficult to ensure the safety of users of illicit street drugs. In the past year, with assistance from our community partners, Alouette has introduced new ways of testing for the presence of toxic substances in street drugs as an expansion of the harm reduction approach to addictions.
